A VERY SAD EVENT

This weekend, An awful incident broke my heart and my friends' hearts

. One of the male pups from MoMo's litter had to be put to sleep. Dave was a vibrant, healthy dog with so much life in him, but somehow he dislodged a vertebra and was in agony, screaming with every movement. He was put on morphine and monitored at the vet, but he deteriorated rapidly. The vet said they could operate at a costly price, but couldn't guarantee success and recommended that it would be kinder to put him out of his agony.
This hits close to home considering I have two of his sisters, Tango and Popcorn. I can't imagine how I would feel in this situation. Losing a dog in this fashion is heartbreaking. A dog's life is already too short, but to see your beloved pet suffer like this and have its life cut short when the week before he was full of life is devastating.
So today, give your dog an extra hug and kisses because you never know how these cruel events can unfold. My heart bleeds, and I can only console my friend. He just got a message from the pet crematorium while he was here, and he had to leave because he was so upset. He said they had been brilliant. Let's hope we don't have to experience this again for a long time.
God bless and R.I.P Dave.
