Growing old

Watching my beautiful black lab MoMo getting old really hurts and brings flash backs of Tanny in her senior years.

watching her sitting out, while the other dogs play brings a tear to my eyes.

seeing her walking around confused and her slavering from one side of her face due to a suspected stroke. The memories she has given us and still will for a few more years we hope are unforgettable

The six pups she brought into this world have brought me and many more families so much joy.

i will never know why, God only allows these angels with paws to stay by our sides for such a short time, I’m sure he has his reasons

The precious seconds now fly by and I know by her sad eyes, she knows herself but never stops loving and still needs love herself.

so if when you are visiting our shop and she’s about remember to make a special effort to make her feel loved and special.

because all you dog lovers out there who have been in this position know the feeling and know that little puppy you brought home all them years ago, that gave you so much love and pleasure deserves that same love and attention now they enter their twilight years, if not more.
