Leaving your dogs

It is always nice to get away and catch a few rays, but it can be very difficult for us dog owners.

We are quite fortunate to have a very good friend who walks our dogs, feeds them, and usually boards them at her house.

This time my daughter wasn't coming. So decided the dogs would stop at the home and keep her company.

Good idea? but fortunately, our friend popped around every morning and took them for a walk The backyard would have been like a mind field of dog muck, and then again that's if they had been watered and fed.

Well we were lucky and had peace of mind while we were away, which all helped to the relaxing part of the holidays

My Son and Demi and my Grandson Teddy came with us and were leaving Ivey for the first time but luckily they had prepared for this and were allowed to stop off at Hillary's a friend and customer of ours who boards dogs and trains and comes with high recommendations from us. Her business name is Hands on k9.

She was brilliant at sending us updates on WhatsApp on the walks she was on and her playing at home and this put Demi and Ollie in a better frame of mind, helping them enjoy their holidays

It is so important that our dog has a good experience while we are away and doing little tests like Demi and Ollie did by letting Ivey stop over a few nights before taking the shock out of it and making it like home from home.

Our Holiday was fantastic and because we had prepared suitable arrangements for them we came home to four delighted dogs and they showed it the manner only dogs can. with plenty of kisses and tails wagging ten to the dozen if you would like Hillary's details just email us and we will be happy to do so.
